Three generations of our family have kept bees in the Saskatchewan prairies.
Somewhere along the way, most honey became something else — over-processed, overheated, blended from sources you'll never see.
We make ours the old-fashioned way: harvested, gently churned, and jarred by hand — so you taste the flavour that's unique to our part of the world.
Good Questions
Things people ask us
Why is your honey white?
Raw honey naturally crystallizes over time. We gently "cream" ours — controlling that process so it sets into a smooth, soft, spreadable texture instead of going hard and grainy. The pale colour is natural and a sign it hasn't been overheated.
I'm used to liquid honey. Why isn't yours runny?
Creamed honey is simply raw honey with its crystallization gently controlled. Same pure honey — just thick, scoopable, and spreadable instead of drippy.
Where does your honey come from?
From our family's hives and our neighbours' farms on the Saskatchewan prairie. We harvest, cream, and jar it ourselves in Saskatoon — so you know exactly who made it and where it came from.
What's the shelf life, and how do I store it?
Keep it at room temperature with the lid on — no fridge needed. Pure honey keeps for years. If it ever stiffens, a warm spot softens it right back.
What if I don't love it?
Then we'll make it right. We stand behind every jar — reach out and we'll take care of you.
